These Website Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of this website (the “Site”) and any request, enquiry, or booking submitted through it. By using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site. To rent a vehicle, you must meet the driver requirements stated in your booking confirmation and/or rental agreement.

3. Bookings & Requests

  • Submitting a booking request does not automatically guarantee availability.
  • Your reservation is considered confirmed only when you receive our confirmation (e.g., by email/phone/WhatsApp).
  • You are responsible for providing accurate contact details and travel information (dates, times, locations).

4. Prices, Inclusions & Offers

Prices and inclusions shown on the Site may change without prior notice and can depend on seasonality, availability, rental period, vehicle category, delivery location and other operational factors.

Any inclusions mentioned on the Site (e.g., insurance, kilometers, delivery, road assistance) apply as described at the time of booking and may be subject to conditions in the rental agreement.

5. Payments

  • Payment terms (if any deposit or prepayment is required) will be communicated during the booking process.
  • If online prepayment is required, payment processing may be handled by a payment provider.
  • You agree not to use invalid or unauthorized payment methods.

6. Vehicle Use & Driver Obligations

  • The vehicle must be used in a lawful manner and in accordance with the rental agreement.
  • The renter/driver is responsible for traffic violations, parking fines, tolls, and administrative charges.
  • Only authorized drivers (as per the rental agreement) may drive the vehicle.
  • Fuel policy, mileage policy, and delivery/collection terms are defined in the booking confirmation and rental agreement.

7. Insurance & Liability

Insurance options and coverage (including any excess/deductible) are defined in the rental agreement and/or booking confirmation. Nothing on the Site constitutes a binding insurance offer unless explicitly stated in your confirmation.

8. Changes, Cancellations & No-Shows

Changes and cancellations are governed by our Cancellation / Refund Policy and the terms provided in your booking confirmation and rental agreement. In case of conflict, the booking confirmation and rental agreement prevail.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site (text, images, logos, design elements) is owned by or licensed to Rhodes Island Cars and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute content without prior written consent.

10. Disclaimer

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we strive to keep information accurate, we do not warrant that the Site will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that content is always current.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rhodes Island Cars shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot be excluded by law.
